Jim is an award-winning filmmaker and content creator with deep experience in issue advertising and documentaries. He is a director, writer and cameraman specializing in first person, documentary style pieces, engaging audiences through well-told stories. He spent more than a decade at pioneering cause communications firm, GMMB, producing and directing advertising for national and international social impact campaigns.

He has produced award-winning work on topics from homelessness and climate action to improving maternal health and ending genocide in Darfur. Select clients include the campaigns of President Barack Obama, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, The League of Conservation Voters, Next Gen Climate Action, The American Wind Energy Association, L’Oreal USA, The World Bank, CARE International, Chesapeake Climate Action Network, The UN Foundation, Bridge International Academies, and the Corporation for National and Community Service.

An Ironman triathlete, Jim has a serious passion for the outdoors and for environmental and climate issues. A father of three, he’s committed to doing everything he can to help burst the carbon bubble and build sustainable world. Earlier in his career, Jim worked for National Geographic Channel, the Discovery Channel, and for Academy Award winning documentary filmmaker Charles Guggenheim.
